March 2023 Required CEP Report
This information Pertains to the required CEP Report
In March 2023, certain districts are required to submit a report that contains the official count of the number of students in the the following categories.
Systems Design has a program that permits the extraction of the data listed above pertaining the CEP report. This data may be sent from the POS server to a PC via the HyperTerminal program. Certain districts may use the new file transfer feature in the Customer Portal. The data is also printed on a paper report. The following tutorial will illustrate the steps necessary to print the report that contains the data that the subject report requires.
Please note that the entries for Homeless, Foster, Migrant, Head Start, and FDPIR must come from an official list from a liaison person in the district and then it must be keyed into the master file of each subject student (FS-01-01-field 32). Note that the state sponsored PK is no longer universal so in order for the PK counts to be included a user code must be entered in field 37 of the master file (FS-01-01) so that PK students that are categorically free will be included in the report. Any student that is in a campus code that does not exist in the Systems Design campus codes (FS-01-03) will be included in the 800 campus totals. This way all the eligible students are included in the account totals that the state is requesting.
The CEP report should be produced after the March 2022 Direct Certification Process is completed. It is suggested that the CEP report be run day after the Direct Certification.process is completed so as to insure that all the required data is included.
The CEP report is required to be submitted on or before March 20, 2022 or as otherwise directed by the district's region.
