Change A Menu Item
This lesson will illustrate how we may change the description and or prices of an existing menu item. The POS administrator may, from time to time, have to make a change in the name of an item and may have to change the price of an item. The procedure is the same for items 1 – 14 which are reserved for reimbursable meals or for items 15 and higher which are Ala Carte items. Remember it is a good practice to print out and have on hand a current copy of your items for sale for each meal type and for each campus. This will make it much easier to find the correct items to change. You may also remember that each school has its own menus.
