Meal Input Corrections and Entering Meals For A Prior Day
There are instances when the back office administrators have to enter corrections to meals served to individuals on a prior day. This may occur when the campus cashier made an error in meal input and did not detect the error and or did not correct the error. This may be a mistake of serving the incorrect number of items or may even be that an item was served to the wrong student or staff in error. After the end of day routine is run, then the campus will not be able to correct the account and the corrections must be made in the back office. Cashiers are not permitted to correct mistakes and errors on any day but the current day except in certain cases.
Technical difficulties may prevent a campus or even the entire district from entering meals on a certain day. If this happens then the back office administrators may enter meals served on a previous day.
This tutorial will show you how to correct prior day errors and to enter prior day meals.
It is important to note that after any meal corrections made to previous days that an Accuclaim update must be done for that previous date.
