Recording After School Snacks By Individual
If your district is required to record the serving of After School Snacks by individual (and not by the aggregate) then this tutorial will show you how to do this.
We know that many districts record the serving of After School Snacks on a day other than the day they are served. This requires that the date of serving be changed. The Meal Input Program will permit this. The date may be changed to any recent previous date. The cafeteria cashiers may accomplish this if authorized or the back office may enter the snacks for any or all campuses that participate in the ASSP.
If ASSP snacks are recorded on the day served and prior to the back office doing the End of Day routine, then they may be recorded just as breakfast or lunch is recorded provided that the meal type A is selected.
