The Employee Quick Input Program
This program permits the system administrator to enter new employee accounts quickly. The user may go to the Student Master File (FS > 01> 01) and enter employee accounts or they may use this quick entry program.
The main Student Master File program will require the user to scroll through each field and make the appropriate entries in the required fields. The Quick Entry program requires the user to enter an employee account number, the employee name and the school number. All other entries are made by the system which saves a lot of time.
It should be noted that employee account numbers must be assigned by the system administrator. It is a good idea to develop a plan for assigning employee numbers that will prevent the overlap of employee numbers and the existing or possible numbers that will be assigned to students.
