Systems Design Assists You in the Dissemination of the the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer Information to Eligible Households
Because of continued school closures from COVID-19, Texas received approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide more than $1 billion in pandemic food benefits to families with children that have temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals.
P-EBT is for children who received SNAP food benefits and for children who are certified for free or reduced-price school meals. . Children who attend a school that offers free meals to all students (Community Eligibility Provision or Provision 2 schools) are eligible. Foster youth, migrant youth, homeless youth, runaway youth and Head Start participants are also eligible for P-EBT.
Systems Design has responded to the P-EBT program be designing a program that will permit our customers to print gummed mailing label that may be placed on the envelope in which you insert the P-EBT materials. The materials may be printed out from the links below. These documents were obtained from the TEA website and the Texas Department of Health and Human Services website. The mailing labels we produce will be one per household for those eligible under the P-EBT program and will include all the enrolled students in your district that reside in that household.. The mailing labels you must use are Avery 5160 or equivalent which may be purchased at most office supply stores or online.
Below are the links to the materials (The first three links) that should be printed and placed in the envelope to be mailed to eligible households. The last 2 links are for use by the school district. These documents may have dates for a previous year. It may be wise to check with your ESC to validate the content and dates in the letters.
