Correcting Meal Mistakes At The Point Of Sale
Meal mistakes may be made at the point of sale by entering the wrong number of meal items in the quantity column of the Meal Input screen. Most of the time the cashier may see that this has happened and simply erases that line in question. Sometimes that cashier may not notice the mistake and the correction must be made.
In the latest version of the software the meals and items served are listed on the right of the meal input screen when the previously served student is re entered in the Meal Input screen. As this is displayed, the cashier is given the opportunity to enter an R in line one of the meal input area and then the opportunity to select the incorrect meal entry to reverse.
The instruction sheet linked to this page illustrates the manual method of meal corrections.
