Log On To POS System
The first thing the operator must learn is how to log onto the POS System.
First you must turn on the system which may be your thin client device or POS terminal of some type. Those in the back office will locate the Hyperterminal application which is normally an icon on thier PC desktop and double click the icon. You may follow the slider below to follow the log on procedure. You will note that the expected display will be Login with a static or blinking curser to the right of the Login prompt. This means that your device has a connection to the POS server. If there is any other message such as Connection Failed, or Unable to Connect to Foreign Host, then one should place a support call to the designated support entity.
