Updating The Status Of Students With A Previous Lunch Status That Have Not Turned In An Application
Most districts will be updating the status of students that had a Free or Reduced status in the previous school year but have not submitted a family application during the grace period this school year as required in the Arms Manual.
This operation is one that must be accomplished manually as the system does not automatically change the status after the 30 day grace period. This is an operation that must be accomplished by the Food Service Department. The systems does provide for the printing of letters and lists that let who should, be informed as to which students will be subject to a change in status on the date ending the grace period.
